Jewish Agency Board of Governors Meetings

February 2017 Jewish Agency Board of Governors Meetings

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Jewish Agency Board of Governors (BOG) Meetings, Sunday, February 26, through Tuesday, February 28. The meetings will be held at the Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel.

This registration site is only for United Israel Appeal (UIA)/Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) attendees to the Jewish Agency meetings.  You are also able to register together with your spouse/guest.

  • The fee to register for the BOG is $100 per person.  This includes all meals and activities.

An optional UIA/JFNA Constituency Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 25, 7:30 pm, at the King Solomon Restaurant/Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel, site of the BOG meetings.  Guests are welcome, but must be pre-registered.

The fee to register for the UIA/JFNA Constituency Dinner is $80 per person.

An optional UIA/JFNA Constituency Breakfast (complimentary) will be held on Sunday, February 26, at the Hilton Tel Aviv Hotel (site of the meetings). Details will follow.  Please RSVP on the registration form if you and your guest are attending.

Following the BOG, we will hold an optional UIA/JFNA Mifgash (Encounter) II Day, beginning with dinner on the evening of Tuesday, February 28. On the morning of Wednesday, March 1, we will depart together from the Hilton for an in-depth, hands -on day to better understand and appreciate the Jewish Agency's Social Housing Initiative and the impact of the recent fires in the North.  This important learning experience will help us in our advocacy on behalf of the Jewish Agency by getting into the field and having an up close, personal experience.

We realize that some of you may already have made your flight arrangements, however, this opportunity presented itself and, if possible, we should all make an effort to take advantage of this day.  We will return to Tel Aviv in time for the evening flights departing Israel.  No additional fee is required for the Mifagah II Day.  Details will follow.

Please note, if you plan to attend the UIA/JFNA Mifgash Day II, be sure to book your hotel room accordingly and read over the hotel’s Cancelation and Shortening of Reservations Policies.

If you request hotel arrangements, airport VIP customs assistance and/or transfers from or to the airport, your credit card will be charged for these services following the meetings.  These services will be arranged by the IGT Travel Agency.

For arrangement cancelations, please note:

  • Airport VIP customs assistance and/or transfers must be canceled 48 hours prior to service, or a full fee will be charged.
  • Hotel Booking: For a cancelation or the shortening of your stay, the following policy is in effect for notification of arrangement changes:
