Dear Friends,
In Paris today, participants on the JFNA Solidarity Mission to France concluded their visit by meeting with the editor-in-chief of Charlie Hebdo and the Israeli and U.S. ambassadors to France as well as one of the women held hostage at the Hyper Cacher market and the policeman who secured her release.
The group also learned how the French government is working to combat anti-Semitism and protect Jews and Jewish institutions against future attacks. Below is a video report from David Brown, chair of Global Operations: Israel and Overseas Council and immediate past chair of the Chicago Federation.
