NWP Announces New Chair-Designate Judy Altenberg
February 19, 2015

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pride that we announce the selection of the new chair-designate of National Women's Philanthropy, Judy Altenberg from JEWISHcolorado.

Among her many accomplishments, Judy is a past chair of the Women's Philanthropy Center of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado (now JEWISHcolorado). She serves as a trustee and as the chair of Jewish Life at Denver's Rose Community Foundation and is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program.

An NWP board member since 2009, Judy has served as retreat chair and as co-chair of the 2014 International Lion of Judah Conference. She is best known as an approachable leader and for her ability to engage others in the work of our community, her strategic approach to Jewish philanthropy and her welcoming of new ideas.

Judy will take office in June 2015 and her term will conclude in June 2017.

We are extremely proud of all of our leaders who were nominated and then applied for this position, and we know that they will continue to accomplish great things in their communities and at JFNA.

To Judy, we wish you mazel tov!

All our best,
The National Women's Philanthropy Professional Team
