Funding Available: $16.8 million for awards ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 each

Description: The program supports projects to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables among low-income consumers participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP by providing incentives at the point of purchase. SNAP is the premier federal nutrition assistance program assisting low-income children and families. The program will test strategies to determine the best ways to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables by SNAP participants.
