Training and Services to End Violence Against Women with Disabilities Grants Program

 

Eligibility: State, tribal and local governments and nonprofits (applicants must offer a multidisciplinary partnership providing an array of services for the disabled women)

 

Funding Amount: $4.5 million is available for 10 awards

 

Deadline: February 19, 2015

 

Description: The Disability Grant Program focuses on ensuring that effective services are available for individuals with disabilities and Deaf individuals who are victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.

 

Grantees must: establish and strengthen multidisciplinary collaborative relationships; increase organizational capacity to provide safe, accessible and responsive services to women with disabilities and deaf women who are victims of violence and abuse; identify needs within the grantee's service area and develop a plan to address those identified needs.
