The Taproot Foundation

Description: The Taproot Foundation offers pro bono marketing, human resources, information technology, and strategy management services to nonprofit organizations working within one of its program areas: the arts, education, the environment, health, or social services.

Deadline: Four grant rounds per year, with the following application deadlines: September 1, December 1, March 1, June 1

Eligibility: Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization under the Internal Revenue Code or a public school, and work within one of the foundation's program areas (see above). In addition, eligible organizations must have at least three full-time employees and an annual budget of at least $350,000.

Funding Available: With a minimum value of $45,000, each Taproot Service Grant is delivered pro bono by a team of five to six business professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to assist nonprofit organizations in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington, D.C.
