Enhanced Training and Services to End Violence Against and Abuse of Women Later in Life Program
Description: The program funds comprehensive approaches to address elder abuse of those 50 years and older. Successful applicants must engage in activities outlined in each of the four mandatory purpose areas: training for criminal justice professionals, governmental agency staff and victim assistants; cross-training opportunities for professionals working with older victims; coordinated community response; and supportive services. Those helping older victims from underserved populations receive preference, particularly those focusing on minorities, tribes, the disabled and LGBT communities.

Funding Available: $3 million for eight awards (up to $400,000 each)
