2016 Fuel Up to Play 60 Grants

Description:  Grants help schools jumpstart and sustain healthy nutrition and physical activity improvements. Applicants must show how their school will increase: student awareness of the importance of healthy eating and increased physical activity; student access to nutrient-rich foods, (including low-fat and fat-free dairy, fruits, vegetables and whole grains); and student opportunities for in-school physical activity.

Funding Available: Schools are encouraged to request only the amount of money they will need, from a minimum of $300 up to a maximum of $4,000.

Eligibility: K-12 schools (applicants must participate in the National School Lunch Program.)
